St Clere's under 14 Blacks put in strong performance to come away victorious in the Brentwood Community Football Association League Trophy final against Harold Wood Cougars at Billericay FC Stadium.

St Clere's were heading in to the final on a good run of form, winning their last 15 games although they had lost the last 2 league games against Harold Wood so a win for our boys was far from guaranteed. St Clere's started strongly and started putting the opposition under pressure with the first goal coming from a well worked corner after 6 minutes for an own goal putting them 1-0 ahead. The game continued with St Clere's playing some great football and creating more chances to go further ahead. In the 23rd minute St Clere's won a free kick outside the box and Alex Ketteridge stepped up to scored in the top right corner. Then in the 33rd minute St Clere's Centre back Archie Bates scored the 3rd goal from another well worked corner. The final goal came 5 minutes from full time with man of the match Harrison Hamilton riffling into the roof of the net taking the final result to 4-0 and some wild celebrations from the players and all of their supporters.
